Tell me your FIGHTING LOVE story...$100 GC up for grabs:)

Hi everyone!!!

I'm super stoked! FIGHTING LOVE  comes out in less than SIX weeks and its already up for presale!!! Squeeee! I'm so excited about this book. Not only is it a beautiful love story, but, Oh. My. God. Tommy "Lightning" Sparks is...*shiver* mmm. mmm. good. :) He's a little bit of everything. Bad. Good. Dominate. Yum.

Then we have Julie--that sweet, innocent ten-year old girl he's spent over twenty year protecting. Yeah, she's not so sweet and she's definitely not innocent. Tommy has a hard time when he realizes this.

Here's just a quick teaser of just one of the heated moments between Tommy and Julie:

She put her hands on her hips. “You may see me as a sister, Tommy, but let me assure you I am a red-blooded woman. And no matter what you think, I am fuckable to other men.”

His eyes snapped to hers, something dangerous darkening their green depths as he took a step closer. “Is that what you want, Julie? To be fucked?”

Having Tommy ask her such a bold question left her completely breathless, and all she could do was gape at him as he took another step toward her.

Yep, that pretty much covers it right there. :) Here is the awesome cover and blurb for the book:

Talk about kicking a fighter while he’s down.

Former Middleweight champion and confirmed bachelor Tommy “Lightning” Sparks has lost it all: his belt, his career, and now his home. After the devastating fire, he moves in with his drama-free best friend, Julie. One encounter changes everything and Julie is no longer the girl he’s spent his life protecting but a desirable woman he wants to take to his bed. Knowing his reputation, he’s determined to protect Julie more than ever—from himself.

Veterinarian Julie Rogers has been in love with Tommy since she was ten, but would love to get over the man. She’s quiet nights at home and a glass of wine. He’s clubbing all night and shots of tequila. As friends they work great. As a couple? No way in hell. She just can’t get her heart to agree. When she starts spending time with another fighter, the man who’s always treated her like a sister is suddenly not being very brotherly and enflames her body like never before.

Can two childhood friends make a relationship work, or will they lose everything because they stopped FIGHTING LOVE.

  5. I had this GORGEOUS male friend in high school, but since I was a senior and he was a sophomore, I never saw him as real date material. I was always trying to fix him up, and he was always turning me down. That summer, after I graduated, he showed up at my house and told me it was always me that he wanted. Wow, I was floored and absolutely speechless. The rest you have to use your imagination for, but that summer before I left for college was one I'll never, ever forget.

    1. Thank you so much, Tori! I love friends-to-lovers too. Mostly because that tends to be how I fall in love. Tommy being a fighter is just an added bonus. :)

  7. I was the new kid in class and I was older than everyone by a year because I was a repeat. During the holidays, I had to come back to school with this group of guys because I wasn't doing well. It was weird because I felt really left out since all of them knew each other. But then this guy started talking to me and since we live near each other, we decided to go to school together. I remember having a love and hate relationship with him. LOL. Because I liked talking to him. I was attracted to him. But he keeps doing things that I really disliked. We are friends though. We hang out with each other most of the times after school. On my birthday, we celebrated it together. When we were on the bus ride home, we slept and somehow kissed each other when we woke up because we were leaning on each other. Since then, things just started to change between us.

  9. My kind of fighting love story is the fact, my ex husband and I after all we have been through over the years just recently got back together last year. Though we divorced and he had dated other people we found our way back to each other. He is truly my soulmate.

  13. Congrats on the new release! Loved that hot excerpt.

My story is: went on blind date which was awkward and I thought over, then met up several times at coffee shop just to chat, became friends and study buddies, not sure when it turned into something more, but first kiss definitely left no confusion and we lived happily ever after. ;)

  26. My love story didn't get a HEA, but we are still friends. It started with a trip my family and i made to Mexico. I met a boy (Tony), he was sweet, just not my type, but since we were close to the same age we hung out and stuff and one day while we were at a party a man asked me to dance and Tony said 'No, she's my girlfriend', well i appreciated it since the man was a lot older, but we let the act continue and by the end of the night we had our first kiss. Even though times with him were amazing, the long distance was too much. *sad sigh*

  27. I haven't really experienced the friend to lover scenario although the way you have it written above in the excerpt it sure sounds exciting. It sounds like and fun and steamy book , just what I like

  28. I have no story. But I do have to say this book sounds awesome and the cover is great. Never read anything by this author but would love the chance to start with this book! This reminds me of the MMA series that I fell in love with by Lori Foster....Congrats

  33. I don't know of any stories to tell you, either. I CAN say that I loved my husband when I married him, but there came a time over a dozen years later when I FELL in love with him too. Better late than never?

  34. I've been waiting on this one for a while now Abby. I'm thrilled that it's FINALLY here. Unfortunately, I don't have a story to share, I met my guy after running a marathon (literally), nothing pretty, romantic or even sweet about that ;-(. But back to the happy news - that cover is smokin' hot and let me not even get into what my expectations are after reading that blurb/teaser. Happy Reading to me!

  35. I love this series.... i dont have any love stories about me but my friend recently started a relationship with a guy who fell in love with her since 2004. They had always been in each others lives but she really is an outgoing person and had no idea that he felt that way. It was until recently he said what the hell and asked her out. She agreed after he willingly and with no acting experience signed on to perform a theatre piece she had been involved in. the rest is history.. the fun part for her though is realizing how much they had been in each others lives and for how long.. i caught her saying she was so dumb for not realizing.... but they are happily together now....
now i wish i was that lucky... :)

  36. I love this series. This are the first stories that hook me up with sport romantic novels. I was wondering if is going to be another extreme love novel. The perspective of the male character thinking is amazing. How can you do it? I read the story in one day. Keep doing the great work. ;)

  37. Hey guys!
I wanted to apologize for taking so long with this. Moving during a release is NOT the way to do things. Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice and its just me and two kids, so everything fell on me to get done. To say the least, the last few weeks have been completely insane. I'm all moved in now and I'm trying to get caught up. Lidya Loe won the giveaway. I will be sending you an email here shortly. Thank you all so much for participating!
